An incredible opportunity to create the framework to provide a culturally appropriate and effective avenue to support Indigenous parents who are incarcerated in Federal correctional institutions in British Columbia to prepare them for reintegration has become available with our Organization!
The Program Manager will oversee the three stages: a) Implementation readiness/capacity building; b) Test Pilot project in a Federal institution, and evaluation; c) Project expansion to a 2nd Federal institution and knowledge sharing/building. The Program Manager is responsible for researching, planning, implementing, directing and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of the initiative, as well as for overseeing, supervising evaluating and leading the work of Indigenous Case Management Support Workers.
The location for this position is to be determined with a high probability of it being in the Fraser Valley Area.

Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture and traditions and a demonstrated ability to work with Indigenous people. Preference will be given to individuals with an indigenous background as per section of Section 41 of the Human Rights Code.
